The groups specialize in helping women with breast and ovarian cancer, and focusing on how to live through all stages of treatment and post-treatment
A breast and ovarian cancer group will meet at Putnam Hospital in Carmel every third Wednesday of the month. The July 15 meeting is at 7 p.m.
The group will meet at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie on the first Tuesday every month. The July 7 meeting is at 10 a.m.
East Fishkill Community Library will host a group the second Tuesday every month. The July 14 meeting is at 10:15 a.m.
Toll-free teleconferences also are available. There's an advanced stage or metastatic breast cancer telephone group at 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, and an ovarian cancer telephone group at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 8.
It's suggested to call a few days ahead to figure out how to participate.
